Hello!
I’m Karley, a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), lover of all things floral, and now blogger. I am committed to continually learning and growing in my faith. I am also a wife, mom, chai tea drinker, podcast listener, (very) amateur watercolor painter, and book lover. Whether I am the one who plants a seed, waters the soil, or aids in re-potting - I am grateful to witness the growth and bloom of those I work with. I get the great honor of learning from and learning with some of the most amazing people on this planet-

My Family
I am a wife, mama, and dog mom to Hera- our Great Pyrenees rescue pooch.
My Location
I office out of Kansas City, Missouri. Prior to moving to the area I thought I was a country girl, but this city has changed me (except for when my southern twang exposes me).
My Hobbies
I love to craft. I really enjoy scrapbooking and recently have gotten into painting. One hobby of mine is to collect brooches. Pictured above is my wedding bouquet made entirely out of brooches (and a styrofoam ball with loads of hot glue) I had been collecting brooches since I was probably 14. I still collect them for future projects.
"How do you celebrate in one word?"
This was one of my interview questions upon entering my Masters program. My answer: VACATION!
My Favorite Food
My favorite food is dessert! I enjoy just about anything that has chocolate in it. I especially like cheesecake, macaroons, the peanut butter ice cream at Betty Rae's, and the key lime pie concrete at Andy's. Pictured is a birthday cake I made for my daughter. It is the dessert I feel most proud of creating so far!
My Travels
I treasure opportunities for travel. Some of my favorite places I've been include: Hawaii, Mexico, France, Germany, England, Greece, and St. Lucia. Pictured is Mykonos, Greece.
